Turn Out Miami a project of Equality Florida Action PaC and SAVE Action PAC

We have important news from Miami! County Commissioner Eileen Higgins has advanced to the runoff election for Mayor of the City of Miami on December 9th. This means we have another opportunity to make history and elect a proven equality champion as Miami’s first woman Mayor.

Equality Florida Action PAC and SAVE Action PAC have united in a historic partnership to support Eileen in this critical runoff election.

As County Commissioner, Eileen established Miami-Dade County’s first LGBTQ Advisory Board, designated October as LGBTQ History Month, and recognized March 31 as Transgender Day of Visibility. She has consistently defended LGBTQ rights against attacks from Tallahassee and secured increased funding for LGBTQ-centered services. In 2024, Commissioner Higgins was awarded Equality Florida’s Voice for Equality Award, and in 2021 she was recognized with SAVE’s Champion of Equality Award – the highest honors of both organizations.
